My name is Puka, and I am a proud native of Hawaiʻi. I was born on Maui and raised in Kailua Kona on Hawaiʻi Island, where I learned from an early age the importance of community, relationships, and caring for one another.
In Hawaiʻi, when we meet someone new, one of the first things we ask is, “Where are you from?” or “What’s your last name?” It’s not just small talk. It’s how we find connection. Sharing our ‘ohana names helps us understand how we are all connected to this place and to each other. These roots and relationships are something I carry with me in everything I do.
Before entering real estate, I spent many years working in the hospitality industry here on Hawaiʻi Island. That experience taught me that great service is about more than simply doing a job well. It is about making people feel welcomed, heard, and cared for. Eventually I realized I could take that same approach and apply it to helping people navigate one of the biggest decisions of their lives: buying or selling a home.
Today, as a broker with Go Luxe Realty, I have the privilege of helping clients across Hawaiʻi Island find their place here. I am passionate about educating my clients on the market, guiding them through every step of the process, and making sure they feel confident and supported from start to finish.
I am also honored to serve on the board of directors for the West Hawaii Association of Realtors, where I work alongside other industry professionals to support and strengthen the real estate community in West Hawaiʻi.
Above all, my greatest motivation comes from raising my three wonderful children. They inspire me every day to live by the values that guide both my life and my business:
Pono — to live and act with integrity.
Mālama — to care for and look after one another.
ʻOluʻolu — to always lead with kindness.
Real estate in Hawaiʻi is about more than property. It is about people, relationships, and helping others find a place where they truly feel at home. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve my community and to help others become part of the story of this special place we call home.
